To make more power while staying NA, the flow of air going to and from the engine needs to be optimized. Most auto manufacturers produce cars to work well, however they are okay with having an adequate final inspection. That somewhat poor quality control means there are many aspects of the car that can be improved on without reinventing the wheel.
