Should you go Investing or trading in the stock market?
There are different ways to approach the stock market. Some do day trading or some do long-term investing. In this video, I talk about the difference between both strategies to make money from stocks and which is better for you.

Let’s first understand what these two strategies are: Day Trading vs Long Term Investing.

Day trading also called as Intraday trading. This means when you buy and sell a share, a contract like futures, options derivatives bitcoins, etc. on the same day. A day trader does not intend to hold it for the long term and hence takes leverage and aims at gaining profit with the short-term fluctuations of the security that happens during the day.

Long term investing or Value Investors also invest in the same type of stocks through the stock market. However, the mindset is different. They focus on buying the company instead of buying just a stock. It’s because when you buy a stock, you become a co-owner of the organization. The primary reason they invest in a company is that they believe that the company is going to make good profits in the future and hence want to participate in its long-term success and compound their money and create sustainable wealth.

Some people call day trading a type of gambling, but I'd politely call it a zero-sum game.
