Innovation has to work around values, not just data, and it has to be human-centered. Although advances in technology come from large international companies, public policies must ensure that implementation takes into account European values. In the case of education, the great challenge for governments is how to transform current artificial intelligence to adapt it to teaching and learning processes, without conceiving it as a merely technical matter, given that it influences all educational dimensions.
