Times Like Dying is a 20-minute narrative short film set in the Post-Civil War South involving a man named Percy Dixon and his brothers who are stuck with no good options. They are facing the loss of their family farm and backed into a corner, they decide the only way to save their livelihood is to rob a bank. After the robbery, the Dixon clan become separated but rendezvous at a small farm where they have a chance encounter with a lawman who has seen better days. Over the course of the night the truth of their actions are discovered. Loyalties are tested. Hostages are taken. Surviving the night begins to outweigh saving the farm.
