My first trade on SPX options today was a losing trade. At market open SPY pushed higher with volume only to give an upper wick and thinking it as weakness I got in with some SPX put options only to see SPY quickly reverse. I was quick to respond and got out with a small loss.

After showing strength for few more mins SPY reversed and was on a downtrend. Realizing the trend reversal I got couple of trades which eventually made me profitable on the day.
