Our driveway was in desperate need of replacement! You can pull a weed from a crack, and a chunk of asphalt would be attached with it! All the driveways in our area are like this and people are starting to get fines from the village. I doubt this was code when the house was built over 30yrs ago. I received a driveway replacement quote for $2,800. We put aside a 25% cushion, for any increases. Did it really cost me that much? There were two price increases, one increase 1.5hrs into the job, then another one just 30min later. Can someone tell me what physically changed in that 30min? Plus was the driveway replaced correctly? There are some things that were missed, that are causing us issues one and two years later. Also for the people that say we scammed them. This video is now 2 years old. Just months after this video, my brother and neighbor both paid the same price for their driveways to be redone (all 3 were different companies). They had the same crew size and same equipment. I guess the asphalt businesses here in the midwest like to lose money? For the people that say concrete would cost you the same amount. Concrete is well over double the price. Also concrete is considered a permanent structure by our village, thus raising our property taxes.

Seems that a lot of people are very trigged, that I was filming the crew. First, I received permission by the owner, and the foreman to film. Then to all the triggered people saying I was sitting down in a chair while they were working. Well I am handicapped on crutches with one leg. I cannot fly a drone standing, since I am on crutches with one leg! It is amazing how all similar videos have a camera man right up and personal on the job site. Yet, I do not see any of your triggered responses there? I was out of their way during the whole project. Even the owner was on camera. Do you make the same comments while watching Dirty Jobs, or any documentaries? Showing your hypocrisy! For all the contractors focusing on me for filming, than the job itself, take your armchair comments elsewhere! You clearly are not educated enough to comment on what was done right, and was clearly done wrong with the job. Since you are not educated, you target the person behind the camera.

Also I tipped each person, and offered food and beverages both days. Which isn't a requirement, but is a nice gesture!
