I have been looking for a sleek dash cam for my BMW Z4 for a while now and I finally found that I think works well enough to keep permanently installed. This ThinkWare U1000 offers native 4k resolution at 30fps, a Sony image sensor, great clear video in a sleek design. You also get some safety and driving assist features such as Lane Departure Warning, Front Vehicle Departure and Collusion warning. My favorite feature is the red light camera warning it offers even when you are not connected to the internet.
