We took a Land Rover Discovery 1, Discovery 2, and a Jeep JK Rubicon off road to the Black Pearl Mine to see who wins the age old argument, Land Rover vs. Jeep. Will it be the the rugged simplicity of the Discovery 1? Will the traction control in the Discovery 2 hold out long enough to make the trip? Or, will the Rubicon's 35's, locking front and rear differentials, and electronically disconnectalbe sway bars rule the day?
