If you want to drive the ultimate BMW M240i, then it has to be the AC Schnitzer ACL2S. We took this astonishing car to Whittlebury Park in Towcester to give it an in-depth review. It is Number One of only thirty made to celebrate Schnitzer’s 30th anniversary, has numerous special features and was an award winner at the Essen Motor Show.

The car has a Sport auto gearbox, and is the only four wheel drive conversion. (the four wheel drive M240 was not available in the UK) No expense was spared in making the car an Anniversary showcase, and in current spec it is globally unique.

The interior has been specially kitted out, the front seats alone costing £4,000 each. The whole car is repainted in matt metallic racing green, and is the only car of the limited production run painted in this special colour.

The performance of the AC Schnitzer ACL2S was upgraded to 400 bhp, it has RS suspension individually adjustable for ride height, compression and damping, and a ACL2S 10 piece body kit and it is quite a unique driving experience.
