The LS3 V8 BRZ Project!
This video shows some information and a drive in the 6.2ltr LS3 powered BRZ that was recently engineered and registered in NSW, Australia. One of the main constraints of the approval was that all safety features of the chassis be fully operational, so no cutting or modifying of structural components, and of course functional safety features such as ABS/VDC/Traction Control. Over the last few weeks we have been busy fine tuning the GM to Subaru Traction control system, including testing on road (Wet and Dry), loose gravel and slippery oil surfaces.Although the base calibration is now perfect on this vehicle, it is able to be fine tuned by the customer in both NORMAL and "VDC Sport" modes with seperate calibration settings for each mode. AGT Engineering were the first to release a translator for the BRZ/86/BRZ platform back in 2016, and proud to release the revised version (including the plug and play version) in May 2019.
To thank our customers who purchased the original BRZ/86/FRS translator, we are offering a FREE upgrade (excluding P+H) to the latest wire in translator version with better Traction Control, Cruise Control , AC and Pushbutton Start capability.
