This is an overnight backpacking trip starting from Emigrant Lake Trailhead heading up 900+ feet over ~4 miles to Emigrant Lake. This lake is located in the Mokelumne Wilderness within the Eldorado National Forest which requires a permit for overnight stays. On this trip Cameron and I head up to Emigrant Lake with a plan to set up camp and explore the surrounding area. We end up fishing and enjoying some drinks around the alpine lake. Do we finally break the fishing curse?
