Welcome to the P51™ Enzyme Lab: β-Gal Glow. In this lab, students will observe and experiment with enzyme reaction rates. Using fluorescence as a readout, students can design experiments that investigate how temperature, pH, concentration, and competitive inhibition affect enzyme reaction rates. The simple, easy setup allows for different groups to each pursue their own unique experimental design, all with minimal preparation time, as well as a bright, easy-to-see readout, making it an excellent option for the AP Biology Enzyme Activity lab or any biology classroom. This lab is compatible with blue light illuminators as well as the P51™ Molecular Fluorescence Viewer.

miniPCR bio™: We live in a DNA world. Our society relies on DNA science to develop lifesaving medicines, improve crops, and solve crimes. Yet most of us never see or touch DNA technologies because they are "the stuff of scientists". It's time to break down barriers to DNA discovery and experimentation. We've created the miniPCR DNA Discovery System to make DNA science accessible and exciting for everyone, everywhere.
