While taking two marketing courses, Flores decided to start a YouTube channel for her online radio show “Janie Flores Live.” “[The portal] gave me that extra push that I needed to expand to more platforms,” she says. “I’m always looking for different and new platforms where I can start to build an audience.”

Flores dreams of starting America’s first national radio show dedicated to multicultural entrepreneurs. “The mainstream media may say one thing about us [Hispanics],” she says. “But Buena Vida Media is elevating the real part. Our community is making important contributions to this country.”
