It's been a few weeks so I wanted to go ahead and publish it while we were still (barely) in the same month.

I was really excited about the option to edit a video for this exchange, so I was super happy to be matched with you! Obviously since it's a video I had to stick to canon events, but I did my best to highlight the complicated nature of their relationship-- They very obviously love each other, and a lot of the time they get along very well, but there's a lot of strain, especially when it comes to the Nie Sect's cultivation and its inevitable effects.

I also chose to include the lengths that NHS went to in order to avenge his da-ge's death. I once saw a post wondering about how Nie Mingjue would feel about post-canon Sect Leader Nie Huaisang, so that's definitely associated with the general concept of "complicated" when it comes to how I think about the Nie bros
