5 things we should not leave Makkah until we've done:

1. Tawaf - a worship that can only be done in Makkah

2. Unconventional charitable acts - like helping someone. For example, give someone a good spot you reserved for yourself at the Musjid, like Sheikh did and the old man made Duaa back "oh Allah please him and be pleased with him". Give someone Zamzam, give someone a chair etc.

3. Connect with eachother in a way that is meaningful. Keep this connection after when you return home. We are like one big family.

4. Ask Allah for forgiveness for what is passed and what is not yet to come. "Oh Allah forgive me what I know and what I don't know". Istighfar is different to tawbah. The prophet (saw) used to make both. Tawbah is when you know what you did is wrong. Istighfar is for the things you don't know what you did is wrong. Istighfar protects us from falling into bigger mistakes in the future. Istighfar is the solution to all of the difficulties in life. What saves Yunus (as) from the depths of the ocean in the whale is that he asks Allah to forgive him instead of asking Allah to save him from the whale. Practice dhikr as much as you can.As you make your dhikr, be conscious of what you're saying. For example say "alhumdullilah" after every opportunity you experience here, alhumdullilah for being able to do this and do that.

5. Don't leave Makkah until you have forgiven yourself. We come here asking Allah to forgive us, but we should also not return home feeling guilty for any past mistakes. One of teachings of the prophet (saw) is the concept of Affu, "oh Allah pardon my sins, You love to pardon sins so pardon my sins". Put your determination in that Allah has opened new opportunities, a new start.
