On today's episode Becky O'Brien discusses her previous relationships before meeting her abusive ex- husband. Becky goes onto discuss how her and her ex- husband met through her own theatre school in Northamptonshire.

Becky describes her ex- husband at the beginning of their relationship as "the knight in shining armer" and was ticking all the boxes for her. Becky describes their decision to get married as very quick and explains she often made decisions in their relationship with her heart over her head. Four days before their wedding Becky found out she was pregnant although her ex- husband had been told he was unable to have children.

Things started to take a turn in their relationship the day after they got married and during their wedding reception. Becky goes onto explain the red flags she ignored at the time and would question herself and thought she was being paranoid. Her ex- husband would start to show controlling behaviours in relation to Becky's family and the theatre school, and became verbally abusive.
After Becky gave birth to her twins, things started to take a more dramatic turn and he physically attacked Becky, he was convicted of GBH. Becky explains instances where he would chase her with a knife in his hand. Becky says she became emotionally numb.

Since leaving the relationship Becky appeared on Britains Got Talent and is now an ambassador for Women's Aid and speaks openly about her abusive relationship online and in the media.
