I always get asked about my L bracket. Some people just ask what the orange thing is attached to my camera. Or, others ask what brand L bracket I use. Truth is that I use a 3 Legged Thing L Bracket and I'm actually now using Ellie which is their new universal L bracket. It's sturdy and it's totally customizable.
