The most daunting task for many early-stage filmmakers is budgeting. Here's my process for creating a first draft film budget using the "Telefilm Micro-Budget" template.

This isn't a precise total, it is a rough estimate cost given the films parameters. After this first draft, I would polish the amount after plugging in negotiated union rates, receiving quotes from rental houses, etc.

There may also be expenses included in this that would not be necessary in your production, or ones missing that you would need. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments and I'll try my best to answer!
