Aston Martin is well known for both sports cars with luxury and speed, but now the company is looking to the future with an all-electric car. Aston Martin has revealed the plans of letting go of all old Vantage, DB11 and replacing them with all full electric models. It is moving towards electrification rather than depending on the V-8 and V-12 engines. All the models will be replaced starting with the DB11. Aston Martin reveals plans to go electric

James Bond movies were famous for their futuristic cars. How can the luxury automaker Aston Martin stay quiet when the whole world is planning to produce the cars of the future. Aston Martin is the latest carmaker to join the electric car race. The company plans to have its first EV in production.
Tobias Moers, CEO of Aston Martin said, SILVERSTONE, ENGLAND will be the company's first full EV. You will find the car to be very familiar with the range of models in front-engine sports cars. Let us give you hints, It is a perfect all-rounder GT car with a great big V12 engine and was named after David Brown, who purchased Aston Martin in 1947. Yes, you guessed it right, we are talking about the model DB11.

How can the automaker stay behind in the matter of future technology and car rides, who is already famous for its 007 agent James Bond favoured drives. Ason Martin has revealed its plan to go fully electric by the end of the decade. One out of every two cars will be electrified.
Tobias Moers said, “At Least 50% of the Aston Martin car sales will account for the electric cars, The percentage can also be raised.”

He said, “a number of the previous models including the Vantage and DB6 have already started to be converted into electric cars.” He further states that DB6, often used as a James Bond car is the company's most grand, loved and deluxe car. It is also considered the British automotive-style embodiment since its first launch in the market. He concludes that’s why the Company aims to replace the combustion-powered sports car with full electric.
The company plans to make the DB5 and the DB6 undergo certain technical updates. Battery, brakes, electronic infotainment system, suspension steering including the compatible engine and powertrain will be the changes introduced to the new electric cars. After making such changes, it is expected that a range of 400 km on a single charge will be offered
