I've successfully completed two full weeks of careful driving, and have achieved a perfect 100 Tesla Safety Score!

I dug deep into Tesla's Safety Score Beta information and found the 5 best driving habits you'll need to achieve your own perfect score. I've discovered a lot of information that isn't posted on their website, and have it all for you in this video.

1. Use Autopilot as much as you can. It adds to your miles of no bad driving.

2. Go slower than 18mph when turning 90 degrees.
Imagine your passenger is holding a hot bowl of soup
Haven’t tested it above 20mph but I keep it lower than that just in case

3. NEVER let someone be right in front of you if you’re going faster than 50mph.
When lane changing, check ahead
If someone cuts you off, slow immediately and put space between you
Be at least 3 car lengths away on surface streets and 5 car lengths on freeway
This is finnicky, possibly buggy still. Give extra space just in case.
Tesla expects you to get cut off and have to lane change, but keep it below 20% and it won’t penalize your score

4. Never slam on brakes
Use Hold and standard Regen braking
Same thing, imagine bowl of soup
If you can slow down without using brake pedal EVER in Hold/Standard you won’t pass the limit

5. Pay attention to the road.
The tiny camera above the rear view mirror is now active
It’ll trigger autopilot alerts much faster now
Keep eyes forward, even in autopilot
My first 99 day was because I was distracted and had to slam on the brakes, guy in front of me slammed on his too, but hurt my score because I didn’t react fast enough to slow gently.
