Tool handles are one of the best first projects to try on a lathe. But once you gain some experience is there a way to make them better than the traditional method. Maybe with a shrunk down ferrule or and adjustable balance/weight. I think so. This is a second improved version of my Wicked Cool Tool Handle where I make a 1/2 inch Thompson Tools spindle gouge out of bodark (osage orange) and brass on a 1640 Jet Lathe. If you are looking for a more tutorial based video check out the original video (   • The Most Wicked Cool Lathe Tool Handl...  ). The only variation in this model will be the weighted end is different but self explanatory after viewing.
