Improving estimates of zooplankton contributions to biogeochemical cycling

 Published On Jan 20, 2022

Amy Maas is a comparative physiologist and biological oceanographer whose research addresses environment influences on the distribution and biology of marine invertebrates. Her talk explains how image-based distributional datasets and physiological experiments improve understanding of zooplankton's role in midwater ecosystems and movement of carbon through the ocean system.

This talk is part of the Global Futures Special Seminar Series.
