The Women’s Refugee Commission and our partners met with lawmakers in Washington, DC to discuss supporting communities that welcome people seeking asylum. We were joined by Border Servant Corps, Borderlands Resource Initiative, the Jewish Family Service of San Diego, the UCLA School of Law’s Center of Immigration Law and Policy, the Friends Committee on National Legislation, Church World Service, Refugees International, and the International Rescue Committee.
