In this video you can see how long it takes to charge VW e-UP! with 18.7 kWh and how the car is managing the charging process. The car is limited by factory settings to charge with no more than 40kWh which means that if you buy the e-UP! with bigger 32.3 kWh battery it will use the same limitation and it will increase only the time it takes to fully charge.

The car charged from 7 to 80% for about 15 minutes with 120 - 100 A and after that it started to temper down. For the ramming 20 % it needed 20 more minutes to complete the charging session.
