September 21st, 2023 in Fort William started rainy and stormy. Not good conditions for video recordings, the sound suffers and the wind usually drives rain directly onto the lens. Since we had taken the long journey to Scotland, we decided to brave the weather. To improve our mood, we wanted to be as close as possible to the hard-working Black Fives and stood directly at the exit of Glennfinan train station, where the "Jacobite" had to be accelerated straight up the slope after a short break.
45407 became so loud that hearing protection would have been necessary for a short time. After this experience we went to the famous “Beasdale Bank”, where things also got very heated.
