Saturday 24th February 2024 saw the Glastonbury & Street Lions Club and friends host a special 'Farewell' model railway show to exhibition organiser narrow gauge enthusiast Howard Martin at Compton Dundon Village Hall, Somerset.
Howard was instrumental in the organisation of a number of model railway exhibitions, including the charitable Glastonbury & Street Lions Club show and Small & Delightful Narrow Gauge events, as well as the legendary Narrow Gauge South West - the largest narrow gauge model railway exhibition in the South West!
The show featured no less than 20 visiting narrow gauge and micro layouts in a variety of gauges and scales (a large selection of which are featured here), as well as a wide array of modelling displays and dioramas.
