Around 1 year ago, I found the courage to try boardsliding a small rail after a seeing a friend do it (shoutout to them for the inspiration). I started going to skateparks with rails to practice. I later bought my own rail to practice after a different friend told me they owned a rail (shoutout to them for the idea and for hyping me up while we learned together). I ended up battling the biggest rail I'd seen at a skatepark in person, which I never ever thought I'd touch when I first saw it as a beginner skateboarder. Boardslides are pretty fun after all.
