On the surface it doesn't look as though much has changed for the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. Under the skin, however, it's a different story, because there's a lot about this seven-seat SUV that is in fact new. Most importantly, the old 2.2-litre diesel engine has been replaced by new petrol-electric hybrid powerplants. Hyundai offers either a 'self-charging' (i.e. non-plug-in) hybrid, or a plug-in model with 230- or 265bhp respectively.
