The 2022 Mercedes EQE is the latest in a rapidly expanding line of up electric cars from the German manufacturer.

You have to hand it to Mercedes - this is NOT a company that hangs about. Once the good folks over in Stuttgart decide that they're going to release a whole new range of all-electric EQ models, they jolly well get on and do it.

Following the EQA, EQB, EQC, and pretty much any other letter of the alphabet you can think of, the EQE is Merc's umpteenth EQ offering, and as it's name suggests, it's similar in size and ethos to the more familiar E-Class saloon. Not that it looks much like the E-Class, mind. It actually looks almost indistinguishable from the EQS luxury limousine we reviewed just a few weeks ago, which isn't really surprising given that the two cars share the same platform and lots of other technology.

In this CarGurus UK video review, Vicky Parrott drives the mid-range EQE 350+, which has a 288bhp electric motor on the rear axle, fed by a 90kWh battery for a range of up to 325 miles. She evaluates its quality, technology, practicality, and of course, what it's like to drive.
