The best The Office episodes that are rewatched to this day are some of the best pieces of television ever created. Yet there’s a single episode that is so bad, maybe the worst of The Office that actually ruined the shows spinoff. There was originally a plan to create a pilot focused on Dwight Schrute, that would air as part of the main show, and then become its own thing. That didn’t happen. The Office Spinoff plans were cancelled after just a single episode. This is why the show failed, and why NBC passed.
