The Fallout universe and subsequent video game franchise is a living analogy for the utter disregard its caretakers: Vault Tec (Bethesda) could display to those it depends on. A hollow void only filled with fancy marketing and forgotten intentions.
Fans have been hard at work since the days of Morrowind to patch up and at times overhaul these rickety majestic vessels, regardless of the impediments set in place by Bethesda as the years continued, dropping warheads on its fan's foreheads. The Vaults are merely game releases whose maintenance logs only serve to keep the chimney's full draft during the cold season of past profitables. This is a re-awakening... among many today.
