Subaru’s largest vehicle, the Ascent, looks like a Forester on steroids. It lacks the rugged and tough persona of other Subarus on the market, like the Outback or Crosstrek. So far, there hasn’t been a Wilderness model to help bump up this three-row's profile.

But, consider that you can get into a 2024 Subaru Ascent for as little as $45,000, which is significantly cheaper than some of its competitors, and it makes a bit more sense. Who cares how it looks when you get all the basics delivered for a relatively-low price?
