We are the Jacques Family, and welcome to the channel. My wife and I run a Grizzly Bear Safari lodge in Alaska, this is a family-owned and operated business, and we are fifth generation Alaskans. This is our first winter living in a Cabin with no running water, and we wanted to share some of the struggles of life with no running water and answer some of your questions. I am also a Grizzly Bear Safari Guide and have been doing this nearly all my life. Grizzly Bears, like all animals, can be documented and worked with in such a way that minimizes risk. However, these great animals are not safe, and why should they be they are wild animals. I have grown up around grizzly bears my entire life, and if I have survived to adult hood there is no reason others can learn how to deter bears, and survive in bear country themselves. Keeping that in mind there is a lot of uneducated information on Grizzly bears out there and I think it would be very productive to have a more intellectual and in depth Q&A between you guys and us where we can break down animal behavior and bear behavior in particular.
