This was initially meant as a rough draft, as the version I had planned is set to a different instrumental. But it looks like I might not finish it for a while. I had already made the video so I don't want it to go to waste. I'll reupload another version eventually though.

It was a lot of fun drawing the platelets, so I hope the video looks all right.

Activate factor 10 which still requires calcium
Combined with 5 it makes prothrombinase
Thrombin then fibrinogen is cleaved into fibrin

Factor 13 activates; locks the fibrin into place
Cross links are not easily broken
2+7, 9 and 10; warfarin will damage them...

In the clot there's plasmin waiting to be active
Kallikrein and others signal for destruction
tPA converts the plasminogen
Urokinase and its friends do the same
Washed away... and D dimers are the only trace

Protein C inhibits factors 8 and 5
Thrombomodulin ensures that it's alive
Antithrombin blocking 7, 9 and 10
Heparin is active on them
