Years before Marvel Studios' epic 2018 movie Avengers: Infinity War and its 2019 sequel Avengers: Endgame, the Mind Stone was the very first Infinity Stone the Mad Titan Thanos ever got his hands on.

It was introduced in 2012's The Avengers - a movie that confirmed he gave it to Loki in the form of a Scepter - but it's never been clear how Thanos got it in the first place. Well, not until now, if this theory is correct.

It's the theory that suggests this year's Captain Marvel revealed exactly how he got his hands on it - and that's what this video's all about.

It's based on the idea that the Kree Supreme Intelligence (as seen in Captain Marvel where it was, for the most part, played by Annette Bening) was actually powered by the Mind Stone.

The theory goes on to suggest that, once Lee Pace's Ronan discovered the lies the Supreme Intelligence was selling the Kree, the Supreme Intelligence vanished, and he took the Mind Stone and gave it to Thanos to help him gain revenge.

In November of 2018, there WAS an MCU book released called "Thanos: Titan Consumed" which completely contradicts this theory, but Marvel have since deemed it non-canon, which undoubtedly adds a lot of weight to this idea.
