This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "Shathra." From her being an "elder goddess" who is the child of Earth-001's Oshtur and Gaea and having the commission of designing the "Celestial Map of Humanity", her younger sister Nieth outshining her efforts after garnering the praise of the other so-called gods with her "Web of Life and Destiny" design, turning into a dark Spider-Wasp goddess after being overwhelmed with jealousy and anger towards her sister's creation, following Spider-Man Peter Parker back to Earth-616 in an attempt to make him a meal for her spider-wasp hatchlings, proving to be more than a match for Peter and most other Spider-Totems, meeting her demise twice at the hands of spider-god and a "The Other"-indwelled Kaine Parker, turning Spiderling into her minion named Nestling and then converting an army of Spider-Totems into her mind-controlled Swarm, to eventually running afoul of The Inheritor known as Morlun; Let's take a look at this bitter Marvel supervillain, and the powerful Spider-Wasp goddess that relentlessly hunts Spider-Men and Spider-Women all across the Spider-verse. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.
