This is a ballistics gel and pattern test to find out the maximum hunting range for steel BB shot. In this review I used Kent Fasteel BB shot at 40, 50, 60, and 70 yards to find how far you can effectively hunt ducks and geese with it. This nontoxic waterfowl hunting ammo is very powerful and had great ballistics gel penetration, even at long range. The pattern density was not quite as good in this load but overall performance was impressive.

I tested this steel waterfowl ammo through my Mossberg 940 Pro Waterfowl shotgun using a Muller UFO choke tube at long range and extreme long range. The exact load used was the Kent Fasteel 2.0 BB with a 1.25 ounce payload in 3” shell going at 1500 FPS.
