I drive the new Volkswagen ID3 Tour Pro S a total of 260 miles to experience the driving characteristics and charging capabilities. The 77kWh battery in the Pro S has a claimed range of 340 miles (WLTP) however this particular car started out with 255 miles following a full charge. Whilst 255 miles is still excellent, I knew that with some careful and considered driving, 300 miles could be achieved for the future.
VW's latest ID range is a glimpse at the future of electric mobility, built in carbon neutral facilities, a huge amount of effort goes into creating a machine that can be kinder to the environment. Buying and driving a car like this doesn't have to all be about the environmental credentials - if nothing else, the total cost of ownership far outweighs an ICE car, and then you have the instant torque and power! It's addictive and a pleasure to drive.

If you like EV's and techie cars, check out my other videos, such as the BMW i4 M50 and the Hyundai IONIQ Electric 39kWh.
