Jelani Cobb, staff writer for the New Yorker, discusses the importance of verifiable facts when covering a Donald Trump presidency. Cobb was part of a live panel hosted by the Columbia Journalism Review, in partnership with the Guardian and Reuters. The event, called 'Covering Trump: what happens when journalism, politics and fake news collide', was held at the Columbia Journalism School in New York on 3 March 2017.
