Our LA correspondent, Stefan, was able to get hands-on with the new IONIQ 5, finding it to be a modern and trendy EV crossover with unusual proportions. It's longer and wider than you might think with a low roofline to improve aerodynamics and a spacious cabin. It's not as body as an ID.4 and it doesn't have a cargo area as large as a RAV4 Prime, but if you're a fan of sharp angular designs and looking for one of the fastest charging EVs in the world, the IONIQ 5 is the right EV for you... If you live in the right state because sadly it won't be available to all Americans just yet, instead it's rolling out in a handful of the most populous states first...
