This song is a part of the beef between Eminem and Canibus. Both are great lyricists, and is the most evenly matched of Eminem’s many beefs. While Em name-drops Canibus with disses in “Square Dance”, “When the Music Stops”, and “Say What You Say”, this is his first full song dedicated to dissing Canibus. Here he gives us a fictional account of how the beef was started (and finished).
