I started making string art about a year ago and I have now filmed the process on how I create a piece with the tools that are available to me.
If you decide to make your own frames, you will need all of this:
15 mm sheets of plywood or sth comparable
long ruler or measuring tools📏📐
pencil
jig saw
work table and/or clamps to secure the wood
drill (optional, but useful)
hearing protection
mask
sandpaper
hammer
nails
spray paint
outdoor area for spraying and drying the frame
UV reactive wool
scissors
textile glue (optional)
blacklight
patience 😉
