Over the weekend, I took the KTEL bus from Athens to Nafplio, Greece to spend the weekend there. If you love fortresses/castles, Nafplio is for you! The town is also very beautiful with stunning views. Nafplio is also a great day trip from Athens as the bus goes frequently and if you have rented a car, the drive is easy.
