The greatest threat to PreWar homes is when they change hands. While I fully understand how a new homeowner will seek to make the home their own, we must also understand that the original details of classic architecture are what make it special and valuable.

1931 San Pasqual St in Pasadena is one of those homes and it goes on the auction block this Saturday.

Built in 1928, this 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home was undoubtedly a prominent home in its day and remains mostly original. There is a record of some electrical updates and chimney work. Has a modern HVAC system, 200AMP panel, original hardwood floors, and casement windows. A third story addition was added at some point without permits, which the new owners will need to address.

This video walk-through shows a lot of the details of the home and its current condition.
