Even though this narration is Mawqoof (authentically narrated and attributed to the companion, Abu Hurayrah), it takes the ruling of Marfou’ (meaning this narration is to be attributed to the Messenger ﷺ).

The reason is because such words of Abu Hurayrah cannot be made up from his own mind. He must have heard them from the Messenger ﷺ.

So this narration becomes a Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.
