The Separatist Alliance was one of the largest and fiercest threats to ever emerge within the Star Wars galaxy - with their droids being cheap to create and deadly to even Jedi Knights under the right conditions.

Due to the many planets that the Clone Wars spanned and the various environments through which the Separatists needed to battle, dozens of droids were created for these different circumstances.

In this video, I’ll go through every single type of Separatist droid ever made, so smash the like and subscribe buttons, and let’s get into it.

So first off we have the:

1. B1 Battle Droid
These are the standard battle droids we’re all familiar with, used throughout the Clone Wars. They were deadly in large numbers but individually lacking, which is part of why they were so cheap and easy to mass-produce.

2. B2 Super Battle Droid
Although far more expensive than the standard b1 units, the b2s were far more capable both in terms of firepower and processor power, making them smarter than their budget counterparts.

3. E522 assassin droid
Although these droids were scrapped in favour of the B2 super battle droids, they had 360-degree vision, powerful weaponry and incredibly thick armour, making them a terrifying opponent to face on the battlefield.

4. Scutiger-100 stealth droid
Also known as the millicreep, this freaky droid resembled an insect and used its electrified tails to attack clone troopers in the battle of Umbara.

5. Pistoeka sabotage droid
More commonly called buzz droids, these were used to disable an opponent’s craft as was seen when they targeted Obi-Wan and damaged his starfighter.

6. Megadroid
This was a unique superweapon in the form of a giant droid plated with lightsaber-resistant armour and the ability to fly at incredible speeds. It was destroyed after an intense battle with Grandmaster Yoda and Anakin Skywalker.

7. B3 battle droid
These were rare improved versions of the regular B2 super battle droids. They were over double the height at 4 meters tall and upgraded rapid-fire blaster canons.

8. C-8 saboteur droid
A sophisticated spy droid, these were used to perform surprise attacks and sabotage opponent stations.

9. AQ-series battle droid
Also known as the aqua droids, these were units capable of swimming which possessed retractable laser canons. They were notably used in the separatist attack on Kamino.

10. Droid tri-fighter
Engineered to dominate in dogfights, these possessed advanced processors which allowed them to keep up with or even beat Clones with years of training.

11. Spelunker probe droid
Used for mining precious minerals on planets on which it would be difficult to work in for other droids, these were primarily used towards the end of the clone wars when certain resources were becoming hard to come by.

12. Chameleon droid
These were an advanced and upgraded version of the Spelunker probe droids which possessed laser canons and powerful mines to deploy on the battlefield. They could also camouflage themselves by scanning their surroundings, which is how they got their name.

13. NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer
Moving via treads, these tank droids weren’t as maneuverable as those with legs, but were able to travel at high speeds and possessed great firepower and was well-armored, especially from its sides.

14. D1-series aerial battle droid
Created as experimental security units, these were equipped with blasters and retractable wings which gave them the ability to fly.

15. B1 grapple droid
In place of the blaster wielded by regular B1 units, these specialist droids had grapple claws, allowing them to excel at hand-to-hand combat.
