With electricity prices being so high at the moment, in the latest EV Talk webinar produced in support of the FASTER Project, Dr Euan McTurk and industry panelists discuss what have caused the cost of electricity to skyrocket, and why public charging is so expensive in particular.

also detail their own experience of using electric vehicles and charging infrastructure at home, in the work place and public networks and advise whether cost savings can still be achieve by making the switch to an electric vehicle.

The FASTER Project is a joint initiative by partners in Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland to support the overarching ambition to transition to low carbon transport systems. The project partnership will implement the physical roll out and installation of 73 rapid (50KW capacity) electric vehicle charging stations in the programme area before May 2023. The FASTER project has been awarded €6,407,513.23 from the European Union’s INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
