It was recently confirmed that Hugh Jackman is going to reprise his role as Wolverine in the next Deadpool sequel in a video posted to Ryan Reynolds' YouTube channel titled 'Deadpool Update'. This was then followed by 'Deadpool Update, Part Hugh' which further teased the team-up of Deadpool and Wolverine. They jokingly addressed the elephant in the room a.k.a the fact that Wolverine is now in the MCU and that this could confuse the current Wolverine timeline. The last time we saw Wolverine was in Logan in 2017 where he met his death protecting his daughter, Laura Kinney.

In 2018, we saw a glimpse of Wolverine in Deadpool 2 as Deadpool briefly travelled back in time to a scene from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and hinted that they would be working together at some point in the future.

Now that it is confirmed, fans are beyond excited that we will get to see this iconic duo on screen and also get to see Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine once again. Many are wondering if the movie will be R-rated and if there will be a new suit for Wolverine - possibly his black and grey x-Force suit or some adaptation of his iconic yellow and blue classic X-Men uniform.

Could this be one of the greatest X-Men movies of all time? Will we get to see any other famous X-Men appear? Time will tell.
