This is our second year fishing and camping on Rainy Lake. We managed to catch a few decent size walleyes (one being a personal best for the kid) but most walleyes were small. Big or small, we had a blast with the kids and moments caught on video that will be treasured for life. We kept enough for a fish fry at camp. This is a big lake and I do not think we found the right spot for the big ones yet. Regardless of the size of the fish, the beauty of this lake makes up for it. Catching fish is probably just the icing on the cake.
