The Australian Made Week 2023 launch was a big hit! 💚💛

Tennis legend Ash Barty launched Australian Made Week 2023 on Monday 15 May at local play equipment manufacturer MJ Playgrounds on the Sunshine Coast.

It was great to have The Hon Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science, Australian Made Chair, Allyn Beard and Australian Made Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro in attendance and emphasising the importance of buying Australian and supporting local businesses.

Now in its third year, Australian Made Week is a time to champion Australian makers and growers, and encourages shoppers to look out for the green and gold kangaroo logo when they shop. If every Australian household spends just an additional $10 a week on Australian Made products, an extra $4.8 billion would be injected into the economy each year, creating up to 9,500 new jobs.
